2006-11-15 [DRACE]: *wakes up with a tickling sensation on the end of his snout, he yelps and dashs for the door and doesn't take his eyes off the rather large spider sitting where he once layed... he runs out the door and hides under the plants in the garden*
2006-11-17 [Faith.Hope.Love]: Hmmm... *peeks at Drace under the plants* Aren't you glad it wasn't a big bumblebee? Bzzzzzzzzzz..z
2006-11-17 [DRACE]: meh bumble bees don't sting, they don't have stingers darlin, its the normal bees that do
2006-11-17 [Faith.Hope.Love]:
From: http://www.bum
Bumblebees can sting, at least the queens and workers can, and their sting is not barbed like that of the honeybee, so they can sting more than once. The photograph shows the sting of a Bombus lapidarius queen. This is from a dead queen I found. Normally the sting remains hidden inside the last abdominal segment when not being used. Male bumblebees cannot sting as they do not have a sting. In males the part of the body that becomes the sting in females becomes the genital capsule in males, so is used in mating. O..O
2006-11-18 [DRACE]: meh well the ones here don't sting, maybe its just your f#cked up area :P , I don't get stung by either and I annoying them like crazy, I can pic them up by their wings and by the stinger and meh they don't sting me *grins*
2006-11-20 [Shatureel]: I have never been stung by a bee either and they come around me a lot. I know of ppl who have, but they don't bother me.
2006-11-22 [DRACE]: in all of my life, I have been stung by maybe 3 bees, 2 I sat on >.< one by accident, the other I didn't have anything to squish it with and its wings were all busted... so I sat on it and squeeled >.< the other flew on my left arm and stung me on the inside of my elbow and GAWD did it fucking sting >.< I couldn't move my elbow of cause and I also couldn't flex my arm or move my fingers >.<
2006-11-22 [Shatureel]: Wow that must really have hurt.
2006-11-23 [DRACE]: well considering my elbow swelled upto almost the size of an adult humans skull, yer you could say it hurt, I'm not alergic to them, but I still got alergic qualities from that sting >.< the swelling was all weird colours, at one stage the doctor thought I had gengreen, cause it went a sick green colour ;_; then bruised and then a burnt colour >.<
2006-11-23 [DRACE]: it was like that for 9 days, the doctor was amazed and said its the first time he had ever seen anything like that happen
2006-11-27 [Shatureel]: Well it sounds really nasty, can't see I have seen anything like what you discribed.
